Just a number

Metal, Ceramic, Wood – 6ft x 5ft x 3ft

I make art that is figurative with narrative associations and that is political in content. It has a strong component of social commentary and it seeks to illuminate injustices.

My work consists mostly of large-format paintings, sculptures, installations, and murals. For my installations, I generally start with an idea I want to develop and then look for materials that will allow me to visually communicate my message effectively. The materials I use vary from ceramics to wood, steel, fabric, paper, and found objects.

I want people to react to my art so it can spark a conversation or a reflection on a particular topic.
